課程概述

流行病學為公衛研究的基礎工具，流行病學知識也是制訂衛生政策最重要的依據。社會流行病旨在分析疾病問題的「社會致病成因」（social determents of health），試圖結合實證研究，改善「健康不平等」(social inequalities in health)問題。此課程介紹社會流行病學的基礎原理，包括發展歷程、研究設計、測量、社會致病成因內容以及統計分析方法。本課程並希望提升學生閱讀與批判社會流行病學實證論文之能力。

課程目標

學生在修習完此課程後，將可以具備以下能力：
1. 瞭解社會流行病學的發展過程、原理原則、相關爭議與政策應用
2. 瞭解社會流行病學之研究設計與測量方法
3. 瞭解社會流行病之統計分析方法
4. 具備分析批判社會流行病學實證論文之能力

課程要求

出席並參與課堂討論、繳交作業、參與期中與期末報告

4.	期末小組報告	30%	學生1∼5人一組，提出社會流行病學研究計畫書，書面資料3000-5000字左右（不含文獻），於6/18週三下午5點前以電子檔繳交。
